CD Projekt Red seemingly reaffirms Cyberpunk 2077 December release date

[UPDATE November 10, 2020, 2:42 PM PST]: After some speculation due to an unverified leak and the changing around of some assets on Twitter, CD Projekt Red has seemingly confirmed that that the whole “delay” situation was much ado about nothing.

When asked directly by IGN why the release date was seemingly removed from their Twitter account, which happened after the leak below occurred, CD Projekt Red said in a statement to the outlet that it was changing around its assets in order to better reflect the Dec 10 release date.

“As a rule, we don’t comment on rumors or speculation, but I will confirm we were just taking time to update all of our assets to reflect the new launch date of December 10th.”

This statement seemingly reaffirms the December 10 release date. While things can obviously change up until that point, it seems like that’s the official word for now.
