One of the most anticipated games in recent memory has been Cyberpunk 2077, which seems impossibly ambitious and broad in scope. For some fans, this probably feels like the truth, as the game has suffered from a multitude of repeated delays, pushing the release date further and further out. The latest delay moved Cyberpunk 2077’s release date from November 19 to December 10, 2020, taking Cyberpunk 2077 out of the running as a next-gen launch game.
Possibly to compensate for the delay, CD Projekt RED, the developers behind Cyberpunk 2077, is holding the fifth episode of its Night City Wire stream, which shares information about Night City and its inhabitants, on Thursday, November 19. Yes, that’s the day the game was supposed to release on.
Night City Wire Episode 5 will talk about Johnny Silverhand, the in-game character played by the charismatic Keanu Reeves (and also has their own Porsche), as well as some of the game’s music, and apparently “a lot more.”
The latest episode of Night City Wire will air on Twitch on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 6 pm CET. Despite its delays, Cyberpunk 2077 continues to be one of the most anticipated games coming to Xbox, and the Xbox Series X|S.
A dark and gritty world
Cyberpunk 2077
The standard for next-gen.
Cyberpunk 2077 is the latest project from CD Projekt Red, the developers behind the Witcher 3. To follow up the game that defined a generation of gaming, Cyberpunk 2077 needed to be huge, ambitious, and captivating. Every indication says that CD Projekt Red is posed to repeat history with their sci-fi, open-world RPG adventure.
