In the Polish version of Cyberpunk 2077, the voice actors for male V and braindance specialist Judy Alvarez are actually married.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be available in eleven languages when it launches. And that’s not just with translated subtitles–advanced technology will allow every character’s lips to sync with the words spoken regardless of whether it’s in Korean, Spanish, or English.
Of course, since CD Projekt Red is a Polish company, they’re naturally going to make sure that Cyberpunk 2077 features a Polish voice cast. And it turns out they had an easy time casting male V and braindance technician Judy Alvarez.
Kamil Kula got the part to play V first. He’s the same Polish voice actor that also played Liam de Coronata in Witcher 3: Blood and Wine, so CD Projekt Red already had a working relationship with him.
After coming home excited about landing the gig, Kula’s wife, actress Marta Żmuda-Trzebiatowska, became interested in Cyberpunk 2077. With her husband as a connection, she got accepted for an audition and landed the role of Judy Alvarez so she could play alongside her husband in voice recordings.
This just in: Judy Alvarez, the premier braindance technician from Cyberpunk 2077, is voiced by Marta Żmuda-Trzebiatowska in the Polish 🇵🇱 version of the game. 🔥 Additional trivia: V is voiced by her husband, Kamil Kula. 😁 pic.twitter.com/eNpnqGiiIy

With V and Judy being married in the Polish version of the game, it seems like the pair will be a natural romance option in Cyberpunk 2077.
Of course, you could always choose to play as female V and then romance Judy anyway. There’s apparently going to be a ton of options available to players, not the least of which is an extensive customization system that’s detailed in the latest gameplay trailer. Which, by the way, has been viewed over 23 million times since it was released last week. The hype is definitely real with Cyberpunk.
What’s not real is ray tracing–at least, not for AMD graphics cards. Only Nvidia graphics cards will support ray tracing at Cyberpunk 2077’s launch, leaving AMD cards to wait for a future update. This also leaves ray tracing for next-gen consoles up in the air, considering both the Xbox Series X and PS5 are supported by AMD chipsets.
We’ll find out when Cyberpunk 2077 launches on December 10.
