A new game trailer posted by CD Projekt Red shows off the four main different fashion styles that characters subscribe to in Cyberpunk 2077.
A new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 shows off various in-game fashions for characters and NPCs. The different fashion styles are based around four different styles of thought, which also show a lot of personality for these characters. This is one of several different trailers released that detail some of the finer points of Cyberpunk 2077′s world.
With Cyberpunk 2o77 officially going gold just a few days ago, gamers around the world are preparing to hop into Night City for the very first time. Many have been waiting for this game for nearly a decade after it was revealed all the way back in May of 2012. Cyberpunk 2077 has continued to grow and change in that time, as it has now been confirmed to be releasing for current-gen systems as well as the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. A recent leak confirmed just how big Cyberpunk 2077 is shaping up to be when a map of Night City was circulated online.

With the most recent video posted by CD Projekt Red, it is apparent that a considerable amount of work was put into designing the fashion styles in Cyberpunk 2077. There are four different styles: Kitsch, Entropism, Neomilitarism and Neo-Kitsch. Kitsch is based on the idea that looks mean everything, and therefore functionality is ignored. Entropism on the other hand is much more concerned with functionality, and those who subscribe to this ideal don’t care how they look. Neomilitarism is obsessed with “substance over style” meaning their look is classier and subdued, and not over the top like Kitsch. The final style is Neo-Kitsch which is a fancier version of Kitsch that is typically reserved for celebrities.
On top of fashion styles, CD Projekt Red also released a gameplay video showing off the different futuristic vehicles present in Cyberpunk 2077. These vehicles are all split into different classes that determine how expensive the vehicle is and how it performs. For example, Economy class cars are typically cheaper and smaller, whereas Sport class cars are faster and sturdier. All of these different stylistic choices seem to fit in well with the Cyberpunk aesthetic.
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of the year, despite the recent controversies that have erupted around CD Projekt Red’s treatment of workers and portrayal of characters in the game. With the many fashion style options it seems that Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be just as big and detailed as CD Projekt Red has always promised. The hope is that this proves to be true upon release.
Cyberpunk 2077 will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
